Stock Shocks?
What color should I expect my original shocks/struts be on a 90' C4? I ask because I've been following another post about upgraded suspension and have not been able to determine what is on mine. The butt end of my car sits lower than the front. I am wondering if PO did a partial upgrade (i.e. rears, but, not front. Or vice versa)
Thanks again all.

Well something has definitely been done to the front then as they are red. Haven't been able to crawl under the rear to see what those look like yet. I'll report back. Thanks.

Sorry, My mistake. They are not red. The little plastic kind of retainer thing at the top is red, but, the actual strut up front IS black. Had a 964******** number on it. Couldn't read it completely. It was dark when I did it. And pretty dirty.
Should I/Can I adjust the ride height with those little (actually huge) adjusting nuts?

Dear Slant,
Yes you can adjust the ride height. However this should be done very carefully and best by somebody who knows exactly what they are doing. Precise meaurements before and after to keep the 964 level is very important. Adjusting these perches will have a significant affect on your handling,
