Post Oil Drip...new 'Ghost'.

Drips at rest overnight. Teaspoonful a day.
I cleaned the engine case and waited a day to take a look. Slight weeping in the base area of cylinders 1 and 2 that migrates to the case and drips off at the case union at center.
The oil first accumulates on the cooling plate mountings around the cylinder base area.
Any potential source in mind anyone?
It's not the return tubes or valve covers.
Is there a possible culprit on the top side of the engine? Checked the sender area up top with a mirror and could see no leak.

Fred, I can't remember which cyl's are 1&2 (lame) but some potential leaks are on the power steering cam shaft seal, right above the front cyl on pass. side. Have you done an oil change recently? I often get panicky after a change and find oil dripping around.

Oh I've been through the pump seals....dropped the engine to do that and the chain and valve cover gaskets last year. This is one drip that I haven't addressed..Yet. 1 and 2 are drivers side. Thanks Wrench.

Did you check oil pressure sending unit at top of engine at the transmission end. I've seen posts where they can be notorious leakers.

There are O-rings between the cylinder bases and the crankcase that can leak.
