I have found a "genuine" Porsche wing at a breakers to replace my slightly rusty one. I'm not anywhere near the breakers and he assures me that it is genuine.

In short, how does one know ? Is there are part number or Porsche stamped on it somewhere ? It's the front wing with the petrol filler in it. Any help would be fab.

I've not heard of any third-party making replacement steel "wings" for the 964, only fiberglass and carbon fiber ones, so I suspect the breakers is telling you the truth and it is genuine.
