Default C4 Lightwieght

Yesterday I saw one of rarest 964's - a factory C4 lightweight, evidently about 20 of these cars where built by the factory - they are the ultimate in light with a 959 transmission, aluminum hood, doors, etc.

Does anyone know anything about these cars?

BTW - it's going to be for sale - mucho $$'s

I saw one at the Rennsport reunion. It had very little miles, it was for sale. Recently, I saw another one for sale in the USA from a dealer in Las Vegas, I don't think it was the same one since it has a lot more miles. When I called the dealer, it had been sold.

This one is low mile - around 300? I was searching the board last night and there were photos that looked very similar - but they're probably all white right? This could be the vegas car.

It's currently at ray joseph's in Houston and if you'd like me to test drive it i'll make time to accomadate...

Mr Burrows edited his posts out after falling out with a few of us, but basically it was his 30 mile C4 lw for sale at £67k. Before the edits at least, it was pretty informative on that particular white elephant..its still quite entertaining.

How do we find the post a few weeks ago where someone put many fantastic pictures of the C4 lightweight on a post.

I have searched "C4 Lightweight" and could not find the result.......That post would be great to link to in this post! Plus I want to see those pictures again!

911 & Porsche World did an article on it a short while back. I'm sorry I don't know the issue, but it might be worth researching.

A car rare like that will cost a fortune.
Yep, in the issue of 911 & Porsche World of March 2002 you can find that article. The name of the article is ‘White fantastic’. It also includes a buyers guide for the 964.

Greetings,
Henrik
