Any Tips for Faded Convertible Top?
The black convertible top on my '91 C2 is looking somewhat faded, but is otherwise in excellent condition. Are there any treatments to restore some of the color to the top? I've seen Raggtopp cleaner and protectant advertised, but I don't think that these will make the top darker. As crazy as it sounds, I've even thought about dyeing it black, using permanent clothing dye. Does anyone have any suggestions?

High,
J, I would try a top treatment first,my top did get darker w/ the Porsche treatment; unless u feel the top is too faded, because if u use the treatment, and then want to dye it, I dont think the dye will really soak in because of the treatment. I would also contact a top shop to see if there is appropriate dye for the job(u dont want it to soak through).
