Default Brake Booster Pump Help!

Hi,

My brake booster pump has developed a serious leak.
I just can't afford to buy a replacement from Porsche, and the UK breaker yards don't have any.

The pump has been stripped and it just needs replacement O'Rings but I can't find any that match!

Any help advice or general suggestions very much appreicated.

Releveant pump Part no's.

Jason.

Dear Jason,
My only suggestion is to contact Bosch UK to see if they have a repair kit or try and use a 928 pump for spares. I am sure the wreckers will have a 928 version somewhere.
One seriously frustrating problem with Porsche ownership is the total lack of after sales support regarding the Bosch manufactured (or contract manufactured) components.
Ciao,
Adrian.

Out of interest, what symptoms alerted you to the leak? I have a slowly declining brake fluid level, and have wondered if this is caused by a leak in the pump.

I've got a 1990 C4. Could you let me know the location of the pump?

Cheers

Chris
