18" 3.6 turbo wheels, allignment & cornerbalace done
Listers,
Just completed the fitting of a set of Keskin Tuning 18" (8" front & 9.5" rear) wheels shood with Dunlop Formula R D01J R tires 235/40/18 & 265/35/18. (see my P-car profile)
Alignment settings:
Front
Camber left -1.36
Camber right -1.30
Caster left 3.42
Caster right 3.30
Toe left 1.2 in
Toe right 1.2 in
Rear
Camber left -1.36
Camber right -1.54
Toe left 1.2 in
Toe right 1.2 in
Cornerbalance results
Front left 316 kg
Front right 309 kg
Rear left 439 kg
Rear right 424.5 kg
Slight tire rub during heavy cornering on the right front even after rolling the wheelarches and filing down the bracket that connects the front bumper to the wing. Any ideas on where else it could be rubbing? It's rubbing (cutting) on the very outer edger/shoulder of the tire.
Can't wait untill the next Auto X but on my old 17" Boxster twists shood with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup.

Dear Johannes,
The rear corner balance is out of tolerance. You are permitted 9 kgs (20 lbs) difference and you have somewhat more than this. The front caster is also somewhat out to what it is supposed to be (4.25) but that is understandable seeing the wheels you are using.
I would suggest your wheel rub is caused by the fact that you are well outside the normal wheel alignment figures for the 964.
