Default Speakers for 964

Ok, love the car, but hate my stereo speakers. The car is at the shop having some minor repairs so I can't measure here... What are the speaker sizes that will fit the car? Any recomendations of speaker types. I'm not an audiophile. Just looking for biggest bang for the buck. Also, I desparately want the factory speaker grills to fit over these. I want the car to look stock. Any suggestions? anyone know part no's to the speaker grills?

Thanks!

This one has been beaten pretty heavily in recent threads. Try a search.

Sorry for not searching first. You are right there are a lot of posts on this topic. However, I still cannont find factory speaker grill part numbers. Can anyone advise? I need them for a 91 C2 Cab. Many Thanks!

PET Image 911-05, parts numbers 7, 8, 15, and 18 are speaker grilles. I don't know which a cabrio has.

7 = 928.645.423.00
8 = 911.555.453.00
15 = 911.555.451.00
18 = 944.444.149.00

Hi,

I have Focal polykevlar 165's in the doors, and 130's in the rear.
You will need spacers to get them in, but the difference is "night and day".
