Default clutch on ebay

Hi everyone,

I think it's time for a new clutch. No slippage, but definitely difficulty disengaging lower gears when coming to a stop (easier to disengage before stopping). Had mechanic change slave cylinder and make adjustments, but problem still exists (though it is slightly better). Is this clutch on ebay the right clutch for my car?

My mechanic quoted me $2100 for the clutch job but I think I can save some money if I bring him a clutch.

Thanks guys,
Kenny

Even if it's the right one, I doubt you will save all that much money. I thought the main cost of clutch replacements was the labour, not the parts.

My mechanic quoted me $700 for the clutch alone. So I can save some $ if I provide the parts. I don't mind saving $300 when I can!

Do validate the fork, I remember reading there was an updated part.... let me see if I can find the post. Not sure if it was the fork or the release bearing that got updated...

Needle bearings should be replaced as well.

OUCH!! $2,100 for a new clutch! I think I am getting there pretty soon, my current clutch has 30K on it and if I recall they are usually only good for 30-40K miles.

Long Duck Dong-

I'm close to almost 70K on my original clutch- so hopefully you won't need one soon! Actually this will be the first clutch I've ever replaced after 7 cars and 5 motorcycles!
