I have a suitcase for a 964 that contains many parts of the HVAC system. The fans have been removed but the rest appears to be intact. Pics upon serious inquiry (it's buried in my garage so pls be serious).

So I drove 9 hours round trip to pick up this seat in hopes of putting it in my DE project, but I'm a bit distraught after finding out I'm too tall (6'2" - 32" waist is perfect) to safely use it with a harness. I knew PP's were on the shorter side, but I was hoping I could use the 3pt on the street, and smaller cushions (or worst case, the base of the seat) for DE's. Nope.
Part of me wants to keep it as a passenger seat because of what I went through to get it (and I just think it's really cool.) But it's a lot of money not to ever sit in. So here I am, offering it here to you guys before posting it for sale.
As you can see, it is a spare out of a 964 Cup car, but it was offered in a few different variants of the 964/993 around the world.
Condition is quite good for its age. The belt holes need to be reglued (very easy), and there are a couple repairable (if you so choose) wear marks. The piece of fabric with the crest and Recaro logo have no wear marks or tears, so if you wanted to fully restore it, it would be rather simple.
As for pricing, I've found 2 pairs that have sold in the last 4 years, and spoke to one gentleman that sold a single. Prices ranged from $6500-$10,000 per pair. The $10,000 pair being the most recent, and surprisingly in the worse shape of the two. At this time I will take $4,000 plus shipping, Paypal, and insurance. If it makes it to eBay or a FS ad, I will list it for $5,000 and go from there.
Let me know if anyone is interested. I would love to see this go to someone that will use it, rather than have it sit in an "investors" garage for 10 years. I like to see race car parts go in race cars. (obviously, this is expired and cannot be used in competition)

18K miles of usage. No cracks and comes with the mounting brackets. However it has 3 broken studs out of the 10 on the sides. Did I say price is OBO? Pics tell the story...
I have a set of h5 headlamps with trim rings for sale, everything works as it should and is in good condition, I just switched to the h4 setup. 275 shipped to the continenal US.
