Have you tried cleaning yours first? Buy a can of Gumout Carburetor Cleaner and blast it in both openings. Keep doing it until you stop getting stuff washing out and you can hear it rattle easily. Its worth a try. If that doesn't work, I would be inclined to buy a new one. Used ones are now 20 years old. You might get lucky with a used one. I guess it depends on the price differences and how much time you want to spend on the repair.

In the last thread I created my car would die on start up because it was seized. I got it loose and clean and it worked great. But then the last time I drove it, when I would get out of gear and into neutral. The revs would slowly climb on their own to like 1.5k and the car would stall. Fine while driving but kept dying in neutral/idle again. So I'm hoping that worst case its something electrical that went wrong with it, and not some other sensor I have to track down.

If you want more light, then the H5's are not a good solution. I have H4's with high wattage bulbs (90W/100W) and relays. They provide much better light. If I was starting over, I would look at the DZUG HID kit.

Hey everyone! (Wow, it does seem like a long time since I hung out around these parts)

In the past few months since the C2 went, Rennlisters have been picking my place clean, but I found some more stuff that needs to find a new home.

(All prices are USD$ and don't include shipping)

Rennline tow hooks. Not the folding kind, $80 for the pair.

Air Duct, the one that lives on top of the fan and cracks with age. New and never used, $45 (SOLD)

FD Motorsports Goldenrod for C2, also new and never used, $200 (I dunno if they still pay you $100 for returning your old core, but they used to) (SOLD)

Endless EWIG brake pads. These are awesome premium Japanese pads. They're my favourite brand and are pretty much dust-free. Work great on road and track, $200 per axle or $400 for front 'n rear.

I have enough to do both the front and rear of a late 964 (with the big rear calipers)...or the front of two early 964s. Happy to separate.

Power steering belt. $20

DME. I think this is an early one. $100 (SOLD)

It has a chip in it, by a now-defunct company called Powerchip. I can't vouch for the tune, so I'd say that this is just good as a spare. (SOLD)

Lower manifold sleeves, injectors and rails. These look to be in decent shape...I dunno...$100 for the whole lot? Make an offer

Pretty sure I got a few more things hidden in the garage, I'll post 'em up as I find 'em
