Default C2 cup wheels chrome

Free shipping continental US! NR! Porsche 17" cup wheels off of my 1992 964 (911) carrera. 7" front and 8" back. Not shure if they are OEM or not. Wheels have Porsche part nos on them 8Jx17 ET52 965 362 126 00 & 7Jx17 ET55 965 362 124 00; but say made in Italy. No curb rash, but one of the 7" wheels has some of the chrome "crinkle" where the spoke meets the rim. Otherwise they are in very good shape. 7 day return if not as described must pay all shipping if returned. On ebay for $500 buy it now or bidding start at $250 NR.

He isnt running 295s, I am running 10" on 265s and you see that my car is dropped on its *****, no rubbing for me ever----I am sure he rubs, but IMO it looks great-----and this isnt a "honda comment" for those oldies who will think it is, as all AP cars are built to race, and ALL of them are raced (and win)

This car stays that height, I have a ton of other pictures of it at the track, raping on gt3's, sits on the tire pretty much all the time

I dont like the black hood/fog covers, but I do love the black wheels

I have posted some of AP cars before, and get the usual "thats pointless" comments, but they replace all control arms, a-arms, suspension, etc---their cars are built to race, and they do well at it

My point being was that i have 2 sets of speedlines one with 265's the other with 295's. If the wheels were 11's the appropriate tire would be a min of a 285 which would rub since it would be theoretically the same width as a 295 on a 10" and I can guarantee you the 295 rubs both inside and out on my C2 set 40 mm lower than stock. this car is obviously set lower.

The issue is here that if these are 11" wide turbo wheels with a 285 even changing the control arms would not prevent it from rubbing especially at that height. So they must be a 10" boxster wheel which to be honest i didn't know even existed since i am not a fan of the turbo twists.

So let me get this straight - he rubs but he wins ALL races? You're right, it's not a honda, sound more like a dodge neon. No organization will let you out on a race track with tires rubbing against the body work. Not only is it unsafe, but it's also not the optimal driving set up. It unsettles the car, gives you vibrations, etc.

Now you can speculate all day long what wheel set up AP is using, but the point remains - you can't fit an 11" wide wheel on a narrow body 964.

Probably because most of us assume that it has just been lowered for looks. Most cars like that are. Here is a shot of my old RSA racecar and it is lowered about as much as you can with EVO uprights, 1500 lb springs, etc. It would need serious geometry mods to go any lower plus I do not see how it could be street driven as it was only 90mm high. Just saying....

Here in Germany, AP is known for low prices of their work and nice looks of their cars. Racers certainly look elsewhere if suspension and engine work is required.
