Brake Fluid change problem
I tried my new pressure brake fluid tool on my 1990 C2 and created a mess. Pumped the unit up to 10 lbs. and all the fluid leaked out under the front left wheel by the jacking area (rocker area). Also the left ft. caliper leaked. Any idears what went wrong? What I should do to fix? Thanks Paul

My 94 C4 has an overflow tube coming off the top of the brake fluid reservoir. You need to block this off before using a power bleeder. I used a small Visegrips to pinch the flexible line near the reservoir.

You forgot to clamp off the overfill line. We have all done it! Oops! there goes $10 worth of super blue fluid onto my garage floor!
Take a look at the brake fluid reservoir. You should see a small black braded cloth covered hose coming off of rear. This hose allows the brake fluid to escape in case of overfill or boiling. I use a set of small, straight jaw vice grips to lightly clamp the line closed during bleeding.

Me too!
As for your leaking caliper...at 10lbs??
Ensure you have the bleed screws snug and check the obvious points for leakage - if still leaking, you'd better get it checked out!
