Just saw this post by you. Have to say that after hearing your car "in the flesh", it sounded absolutely brilliant. Not "V8" low like my ex car, but more 355 with Tubi- and all without resonance.
It also looks absolultey fantastic from under the car, and the torque curve looked great on the G Tech pro- would be interesting to compare against another car- perhaps my ex 964 would be a contender?

One point- on the day I sat in your car you didn't blow the bollocks off it so to speak so couldnt get the seat of the pants feel- but wonder with that hugely plateued torque curve whether or not you now feel that the car is a bit "dead", much the way I felt with the Varioram on the 964?

Yo Harold, I see you've been making full use of your "sick" leave!
Actually its alot more fun to me as the entire car just feels like its shed 200lbs. I no longer get that "lag" from low revs (1,000 - 3,000rpm) that I used to have - it just goes from start so I don't get bogged down when trying to accelerate from a "wrong" gear - makes city driving that much more bearable.
I no longer that that "rush" at 4,000rpm even though measured torque is some 10% higher than before but there is a feeling of a poewer surge from 5,000rpm on even though the torque curve doesn't show a spike.....strange. But the overall transformation is far from boring, in fact quite the opposite ....and that "sound effect"
Will start putting the new GTech Competition into good use but measuring how every environmental factor affects power as well as other power robbing things like airconditioning, full tank of gas, wound down windows, big fat dinner, etc
