Default 17" 993 cup 2 on 91 964 C2?

I'm sure this has been covered, but when I searched I couldn't find the exact answer for this one. I just purchased a set of 7 and 9/17 Cup 2's. Can they go right on my 91 C2? I was going to use 205/50 and 255/40.

Thanks in advance.

Those are exactly the wheels/tires I have on my '91. They look great and you don't have to do nothin' but enjoy them!!!!

Exactly what I have on my '89 C4..a direct bolt on (Also see the section in Adrians book on wheel fittings - there is a table I seem to remember that shows what wheels need spacers and what sizes are req.)

They will look EXCELLENT! please post pics once fitted!

Cheers,

Thanks ya'll. I can't wait to get them on. I just wasn't sure because I had read Adrian's article and it said something about updating to 10mm steering stops when swtching to 17 inchers on a pre 92? Didn't know what that was about.
