Montreal area mechanic
If anyone lives in the Montreal area, I'm looking for some advice on a good mechanic. I've gone to the dealer a few times but it makes me nervous that most of the mechanics are fairly young and not used to working on my 1991.
The local PCA chapter recommended Carlosport as I was looking for an original muffler. The Monty that is on the car is too loud for me. Carlo got back to me very quickly so I'll give him a shot but would appreciate any advice you may have.
By the way, he found an original muffler for $600 Canadian. Does that sound reasonable? A new one from the dealer is $1600.
