Ok guys.... I am not sure if he is selling the car... I will contact him asap and will know.... I know we where looking for other brands of cars while I was in California, we talked about it often, but this is no reason for me to cancel my trip to Dana Point in 5 weeks..... The Rennlist forum brought us togheter and we are good friends since 2002, but the selling of the Posche doesn't change that friendship, no way.... so Chris, Pc2, Garret and others.... I am in a busy periode of my life at this time as you know, but we still will meet in April, that's for sure!! As soon Randall responded, I will inform you guys....

Yep.... Randall is selling his car and wants an Corvette...... He owned the vat for soooo many years and wanted something new.... He loved the modell, but the new ones are not his kind of cars.....
Still same fun to visit him. and may be I can talk to him and will bring him back to the Porsche community.... ;-)

Made me laugh, They forget the war of independence was us (the Brits) fighting ourselves ! The sad point is that many more will die on American roads than will in conflicts. Anyone upholding the the merits of leaf springs today. Is bound for evolutionary extinction.

Actually the lightweight fiberglass leaf springs in the Corvette are kind of interesting. Unless they are lighter, I'm not sure what advantage they have, but they are interesting to me.
Actually, the whole Z06 Corvette coming out this fall, with it's carbon fiber body parts, magnesium/aluminum frame, 500 HP aluminum dry sump engine, Titanium rods and valves, etc., is interesting to me, particularly at the projected price point.
It makes me wonder who is bound for evolutionary extinction, Porsche or Corvette.
