Going nowhere fast (my morning commute in the 911)(long ramble)
Decided to drive the C2 to work this morning since it looks like I'll be working late (normally I commute with the wife in our SuperCrew truck)
Beautiful day, sun is out, not a cloud in the sky...(well a little hazy)

For the first 30 miles from Antioch to Livermore we are moving along at a fairly good clip on the
backroads, I do slow down a little on some of the
roads to let the slower cars ahead of me gain some
distance so that I can blast away and get a cheap rush
(I've got a rev limiter and I'm not afraid to use it, hahaha)
I finally make it into Livermore and trudge along with the other fools, I mean commuters.....this section can be fun, but not today....oh wait, look at that gap, how did that happen?

Now I approach the Sunol grade, listed as one of the Bay Areas worst commutes....and I have the pleasure of doing this everyday....Luckly for me, there are a few options for going over the hill, I of course take the longer but much more rewarding route.

That section posted above is about 4 miles or so, the small creast off to the left in the middle of the picture was taken at about XXmph (way over the speed limit<grin> I stopped to take the picture since no one was around)
what a rush as the car gets light and settles on all four wheels.....
I had to really slow down as I was approaching the
trees...last time I was floating through there in my truck I took out a quail or two with the large cow catcher size grill of mine...oops....
Sorry, no pictures of the next four miles, I had my hands busy and had to keep focused since one mistake and I'd have some "esplaning to do, Lucy"
bummer, it's all over...

oh wait, one more fun corner...

so do you think I passed all the cars in this turn
before we got to the signal???
hey, no one was using the inside lane, so I "might" have...LOL

Mueller,
What an original an interesting post! I often wonder what the roads in the US are like, I tend to imagine them quite flat and straight (something to do with the way US cars handle...) but obviously they aren't all like that.
Well, I can tell you you are a lucky man, it looks like a very pleasant drive. Sure beats my plodding along London traffic (although I use a scooter and thus tend to zip along).

Riccardo, another P car owner with a scooter as a regular commute! I live in Addlestone in Surrey and tried driving in to Westminster every day - hated it as stuck in traffic all the time - so bought a little scooter to commute. Makes me think that people driving in all the time must be mad - Porsche or not!
Nice to know P car owners think alike...
