Default Bentley's "Technical Data Without Guesswork" - Worth buying??

I have Adrian't book and am looking for opinions as to whether the book referenced above is a worthwhile purchase as well.

What kind of info does it cover?
How valuable a resource do you believe it to be?

Thanks guys!

James,

I've got a copy and there is VERY little in which is not covered more comprehensively in Adrian's book.

Not worth the price IMHO.

Regards

I bought a copy from e-bay its not what I expected it to be. I imagine it will be useful if I have a problem but its not a step by step "do this, then this" type of thing I was hoping for ala Haynes manual(yes I know they have flaws but I still like em).
I have adrians book as well

Adrians book would be the better one if you only intend to buy one book IMO

ps the more people e mail haynes and ask for one for the 964 the more likely they are to do one

I have it and the only things I've gone looking for in it (torques for various nuts, etc.) have not been in it.

Skip it!

Don't bother if you've got Adrian's book - since getting that I haven't even opened 'Without Guesswork'.

The book is a complete lemon

With Adrian's book you have all the info you need.

Also, considering the way Bentley have treated Adrian, I will not buy any more of their products. Voting with my wallet, one might say.

I bought it 18 months ago, then bought Adrians book when it came out.
I've recently been doing a couple of 'projects' on the car and used Adrian's book regularly as a sanity check, then while we were cleaning the house, found the above mentioned book. I forgot I even had it !

I ordered Adrians book and the Without Guessswork book at the same time once i bought the car.

Hindsight is a great thing. I refer all the time to Adrians superb book whereas the other just gathers dust or gets used a coffee mug coaster. The way i try and look at it is that i would have payed at least twice as much for Adrians book so as not to think i've wasted money on the other!!

Ok, so what you are all saying is that i should drop everything and rush out and buy a copy, no, make that several copies, maybe one for each room in the house, if it's the last thing i ever do?

Thanks for saving me the cash guys. I'll take a pass on the book.

By the sound of it, you can buy the copies off everyone here for every room in your house!

I just ordered Adrian's book after reading all the raves. I bought my 964 in December and look forward to getting my hands dirty.
