Rob,

I think I mentioned my photography was crap - but you didn't have to cover the car as well! Check out my avatar (and John B's photo) Seriously, nice to meet you, and good luck with the mag. Don't forget to bring your gate slave on the next run...

Barry - terribly sorry about that! (for those who don't know, Barry was following me when I got a rear wheel on the grass; no LSD and plenty of wheelspin later, Barry was vigorously washing the lumps of mud off his windscreen).

"Gate slave" had a top time, and wanted to know why he hadn't been on previous Wales meets...

I think my 16.2mpg, including the steady motorway drive down, demostrates the great driving we enjoyed.

We just made it to the Shell station outside Queensferry with the warning light having been on since Denbigh!

I can't wait for the next run - pencil me in already!

Love the pics guys...JB, nice to see your car NOT gleaming pristinely for once! I had begun to wonder if it was dirt repellent!

Thanks,

_

Do you know, H., the funny thing is there is so much polish on that car (Rejex, lately) that once the hose hit it, the dirt literally fell off!

Now my driveway looks like a farm track!

Thanks for the praise, Andrew - I've had 11 years to get to know this car. AND I do know those roads pretty well.

Email your pics to me, if you wish, and I'll resize them.

I always come back wishing I'd spent more time examining the other cars, chatting to the people, etc.
Somehow there just never seems enogh time. I was meant to try out Rob's LWF and I intended him to take some pics for me of Paula and I with the 964...

I was particularly impressed with the sound of your car's exhaust, Andrew. I've never been tempted to modify my exhaust or air-box, but that sounded pretty good!

Oh well - next time.

I tried to mail you some pics but i'm having problems, will try later if I can work it out

John B,
If you're giving lessons on uploading and posting pics, sign me up! And I'll be away in June from 8th-26th so PLEASE don't have the next run then - I'll be gutted to miss out.
Barry
