Default Help! Factory Turbo Look value

Circumstances have me needing to negotiate with an insurance Co. over the replacement value of my 1994 C4 Factory Turbo Look. The car was in mint condition with just 20,000 miles. Because this was a relatively rare bird (200 or so in the US is what I understand) there is not a lot of sale history on this model (can't find any). I read somewhere that the older wide bodies brought a premium. Any ideas as to where I can go to get values to be sure I’m being handled fairly by the insurance folks? Any help appreciated. Regards.

Excellence magazine is a good place to start. Throughout the year they print values of various models. I will take a look later to see if I can locate the latest issue.

Do a search on autotrader.com - there are some on there. Also on Pelican BBS there is/was one for sale.

Ebay also had one for sale as of yesterday. You could wait until the auction closes and then print out the sale price, assuming the reserve price was met.

If you can't find the Excellence values, write to Bruce Anderson directly. His website is http://www.911handbook.com/

A black one with approx 25,000 miles, B&B exhaust, and a non-factory whale tail, sold in the Tampa area for $30k approx 5 months ago. I think that price was low as I sold my 91 C2 for $26k around the same time...
