Blimey.

However - that forces the question : is the car getting warm since the mods?

Well as a compariosn, Gert has one at 1195euros....

Hmmm....when the car is driven normally (especially when cruising) the temp stays pretty much where it used to be (as you would expect). After say 5 minutes of some harder driving then I would say the needle is definitely a bit higher and rises much faster than before, but I haven't had any problems with overheating per se. I just figure that temps in the engine can rise really quite a lot faster than can be displayed, so it really is just a question of being safe rather than sorry....I haven't at all decided to go for this, as I think it might be over the top unless I start tracking the car regularly. So just a heads up in case it was of interest to anyone else....of course, most people have aircon so it might be a stretch...ha ha. Tony, where are you? You know you want one!

Christer,

Surely you can mount a 2nd stock Oil Cooler on the opposite side?

Hey Christer,

If you're not going to track the car, the "G12" fast-speed switch outta' work real nice for ya'. Real popular on the 993 board, allows you to run the oil cooler fan in fast-speed at will.
