Adrians GT2 Pics

3 Attachment(s)
Adrian has kindly allowed me to post these pics of his new streathermobile, which frankly has me drooling and absolutely green with envy!! :D

Adrian -- I decided to post these in a new thread (a more positive atmosphere than the silliness developing in the original thread) hope thats ok!

Pity about the beer belly. I really have to improve my exercise regime. I thought I was doing enough.
My next trick is getting it out of my driveway tomorrow.
What you cannot see in this picture is that Sportec left the promotional wheel sets on. These are 19 inch wheels (required to give enough clearance for the 380 mm steel discs). The ones you can see are the gun metal colour and on the other side are the shiny ones.
Ciao,
Adrian

Adrian,

congratulations on your new toy - Wish you many trouble-free and enjoyable miles - just drive sensibly - your new acquisition is certainly one hell of a mean beast!

Best regards

Emilios

Adrian, I shouldn't have mentioned it! You know what, I'd trade you any day that belly for being able to drink beer when I want and drive my P Car in that scenery. ouupps.

I love the rims, I am wondering what is the weight like . I'll check tomorrow and post.

Best,
Jean

Hey Adrian- Tell me about the Sportec wheels are they forged or cast? What sizes do they come in for Porsche. Are they made in Switzerland. Any idea on weight? Thanks

Dammit thats a nice looking car.
Have fun.
It would be interesting to get your impressions soon after picking up and then after a few weeks. I must admit I would love a GT2.

Congrats Adrian

:) I am doing my part to help you pay for that new age Bat Mobile. I took your book to my Porsche Specialist today and he was Impressed - "Where can I get one of those?" When I told him Bentley Books he said -" I wish Bentley made Porsche's work shop manuals!"

Now this is not just any old wrench - this guy is one of the most respected Porsche wrenches in the North West Region. I won't advertise his shop - but he and his 2 teammates combine almost 100 years of Porsche experience. So I hope the three copies of the book help make at least a little part of the GT 2 payment. :bigbye:

Love the wheels as well:)

Right colour, right wheels...... great looking car! You should be proud on it. Adrian..............excuse me for asking, but did all the meetings and presentations give you a more 'heavier' look. As far As I can see did the driver got more weight..... ;)

emilios 07-30-2004 03:48 AM

This is the only one of the current Porsche range I would seriously consider buying - next to my turbo 3,6 of course! Adrian, I've just turned green with envy....
