Default Engine Upgrade on a 964 30th anniversary

Hello all,

I don't have the time I would like to have to send posts, but this time, I'll try to give you an update on a 30th anniversary (you know, the 964 C4 with turbolook, only 911 built (of course)).

I had the opportunity, one year ago to buy one of that 30th anniversary. I finally made a good deal, because the car was in a bad condition, and the salesman tried to lie about the mileage. I discovered it (it's easy to verify in Switzerland...) and argued the price... Finally, my mechanic bought the car, because I was not able to find the money (even if the price was low).

BTW, one year later, a lot of work has been done on the car, may be you'd be interested in knowing what?

At least, I'm sure that some of you will be interested if I say that the engine has been upgraded to 3.8L and outputs now 309,5 HP at 6210rpm. Torque is 374,4Nm at 5290rpm. This was before that the engine was running-in, we expect to get 10HP more.

All mods have been done by my mechanic (Vito - AutoAccess), except remapping the ECU, made by Ofzky on Sportec's Dyno here in Switzerland.

I have a lot of pictures, but don't know if you would mind if I put them all here? Tell me if it's the case.

But let start with the beginning. This is the car when I tested it, one year ago, and finally bought it 2 days later:

Then, front and rear bumpers had to be fixed (too damaged).

The engine at the very beginning. Finally we discovered that the engine had 185000 kilometers... instead of 85000 as was showing the odometer...

The previous owner made 35000kms whithout changing nor adding oil in the engine... you said unbreakable engine?

After some basic and usual mods (such as the hot wire), Vito decided that it was time to start the big work...

The gearbox had also been rebuilt (it's expensive...).

And now the engine. Start of the dismantling...

Then, now that all is dismantled, Vito start to clean all that he plans to keep from the engine.
Look below, before, after:

As I know you'll kill me because of the too numerous pictures, let's go faster...

Note that when Vito was working, some other parts were painted.

Now that the engine is in the car...

We can close the hood and go for the ECU remaping...

You know the rest!
