If you haven't already, you might look at the Tirerack web site, where they have ratings, both from tests and people, plus user comments. I'd take a look a the Michelin Pilot Sport ('N' rated by Porsche in 18"), Bridgestone S02 (also 'N' rated by Porsche), and Bridgestone S03's. Some like Kumho's as street price performers.
