Default And you thought a 964 is expensive!!!

Had a problem with my -96 MB E200T on the smog inspection. CO and HC and lambda values where way off. Took it to the shop. The lambda sond was short cut. Ordered a new which came to a total of 3500 SEK, app. USD 400. Didn't work. Now they want to replace the whole injection control unit. Cost: SEK 22.000, app. USD 2500!!!! Gulp!

Anyway I have decided to sell my 964, because I need the cash. Got my second kid on the way and need to start looking for a larger home+I'm starting up a new business and need the buffert. However I expect to get another 911 in a few years. Perhaps a 964. A great car - and most definetely the superior section of rennlist (ok I confess, sometimes I also read the GT2/GT3 and CGT section).

cheers

Christian

Looks to me like you need to get rid of the MB

Christian,

Think twice! You can sleep in a car, but you can't drive in a house...

Take care

Christian, USD3000 sounds totally plausible as a 964 style bill....what's wrong with that?
