92 Cup Car converted to 993 RSR...on eBay?
 

This looks like someone took a 92 US Cup car and converted it.
I didn't check the VIN against the list, but there is a small photo in the auction that appears to a numbered plate on the dash.

Just stumbled on it doing an eBay search............

549 is listed as Andial Number #1 on my control list, Chassis # 6 (they were not completed sequencially by Andial, the next chassis #550 for instance is Andial #11.

a few of these cars were converted into 993 RSR specs in the late 90's - they were cheaper than buying an RSR and most served as replacement chassis's for wrecked RSR with races coming up - easy to convert fast in other words.
there is little chance that this car could be re-converted - or that it would actually make sense right now to do so since it has Daytona and Sebring history it is probably worth more as a 993 RSR.
I would have made a bid for it if i wern't in the mist of my current rehabilitation project. 45K is really cheap for a car with history
