Where is Roly Baldwin?
Our dear friend Roly Baldwin has been missing in action for a while.
I had to call him this evening on a none 964 subject and I asked him why he has been missing from Rennlist.
The answer can be found at www.eporsch.co.uk
This is good for our UK colleagues but not for the rest of us. Can anyone imagine who better to purchase a 964 from but somebody who knows about 964s. Lucky guys is all I can say.
Anyway Roly sends his best wishes to all Rennlisters. He is very busy as all can imagine with his new busniess venture but he still looks at what we are doing on this forum.
Gail and I are hpoing to visit Roly in October and hopefully be able to do a book signing stint there for 964 owners and others. Who knows might even be able to do the 911SC as well.
Ciao,
Adrian

Adrian - I agree, and bought mine through Roly. He spent about 6 months finding just what I wanted. I now have one of the nicest 964s that I've seen.
Will be great if you come over - I'll certainly come along to say hi.

I knew I sold him those D90's too cheap - it obviously gave him the start he needed!
Look forward to seeing you in the UK Adrian, that reminds me I better get a book before then or can you just sign my arm?

Guys this is about Roly not me. Takes a lot of guts to start a Porsche dealership of your own and to focus on the 964. I am very proud to know the person who does it. Who would have thought that way back in 1999/2000? A 964 specialist dealer.

OK, so you won't sign my arm. That's fair enough.
I had no idea that was what Roly was doing (he is sooo sly), but best of luck if you read this! As I am fairly local to you, let me know if you need any help with anything...

Maybe he can nip next door and tell GT-One to finish my flippin' car! I'll be up there within the next day or so (I hope!) to collect it so I'll have to take a look in.

Would be good to know. Have turned down an invite to the motor show (your car really is that interesting!) but if your car won't be ready then I'll be off to see the Carrera GT. Hmmm.... was thinking of selling my car..... wonder what the trade in would be?
