Well, she's fixed !
Looking at the throttle quadrant, I could see that a sensor wasn't being depressed with the throttle in it's closed position. Pulled and pushed the throttle open and closed, but couldn't get the sensor and throttle body to get to more than 10mm. I put a 11mm socket on the nut holding the body in place, and found it very easy to undo. Pulled and pushed with the nut loose and still nothing. Tightened the nut up again, and as I put so pressure on it the whole throttle body clicked shut !!! Yippee.......
All I can put this down to is the nut working itself loose over time.
Would anyone have a manual that my tell me what I should torque this nut upto ?
I would also have thought that it would have been designed to have a locknut on.
Anyway thank you all for your help, especially Adrian.

Cheers,

Mark 90C2
