Can you just pop the washer jets up?
Hi,
Have a leak under on other the washer jets, but how can I get to the pipe to plug the hole.
Can you just pop the washer jets up from the top and pull the hose up?
Did not want to try unless I caused damage.
If you can, what tool do you use?
Thanks for the help
Cheers
Jon

thanks for the replies - luckily its the windscreen washer so the bumper can stay in place for today
So do we reckon a quick pop up from the top, clean the jets out and a bit of duck tape?

I'm not sure that they'll pop out. You may have to go in via the boot & remove the plastic cover to get access the the hoses. Three to 4 screws I think.

You should be able to get to the pipes from within the luggage compartment. Remove the plastic cover and then you should be able to pull some of the pipe out. When I had a leak, I could pull the pipes out enough to get to the one way valves. I then unplugged the pipe from these and could pull the leaking pipe out completely.
When I had a leak in these pipes it was because the metal bar connecting the wipers was sawing through the pipe whenever the wipers were on (once I realised I had a leak and looked in there with a torch I could see it doing it). I couldn't see how to route the pipe so that this definitely wouldn't happen again - so I re-routed mine in front of the heater servos etc. well away from the wiper motor. Have to be careful it's away from the servo arms - but seems a much better place for the pipes to me.
