Another RS America for under $20K
Found another RSA to be a donor chassis for the race car I wrecked last year. Popped up on Thursday with an asking price that the guy bumped $2K an hour later once he'd realized what he'd done. But I have to give him (a dealer) credit, he honored the $19800 initial price.
So onto the car: it's one of the initial batch of rolled fender lip cars. Red, A/C, sunroof, LSD. 130K miles and appears to be completely original and unmolested. Didn't have the badging or decals, which I initially thought meant repaint (like I care, it's going to be a race car), but after scanning Adrian's book I learned they were not factory installed. Also, on getting home it looked as if the serial number indicated it didn't have the original engine. Again, Adrian's book to the rescue on that obscure point. Learn something every day.
I'll use it as my driver for awhile.
Anyone want a decent 117K mile white '92 C4 (with the first RSA's wing and suspension and 17" cup wheels)? Anything over $20K will make me happy, I just don't need the car anymore.

Pete,
Actually the seats from the first car are in better shape. There is one small cigarette burn on the driver's seat. The seats from this car have some wear through on the driver's side bolster. Leave me an email and I'll send pictures. Any reasonable offer is fine!
All the rest of the non essential parts will be available, too. But not for a few months since I'll be using this car as my daily driver for the summer. Lots of the original stuff left over from the first car now that I know I can part if out.
