Unhappy It is sad, but I must part with her.....

Due to life changes, and the need to buy a home, I must part with my beloved fire breathing dragon...

Greg,

I did not realize that Protosport did the work on your car. I was thinking about having them make custom headers for my car. Did they build the headers? What is your opinion of the quality of their work?

Sorry to hear you are selling your car. But we all have to have our priorities and with the cost of gas you will be saving a bundle.

Lots of Luck

Not sure what to do on the car front...

Regardind Protosport, I would take a ride out there since you are in Jersey. They have a nice shop, and they can show you around. I would pop in on a Saturday morning at like 11AM. They usually install Protomotive kits on Porsches... So they would most likely have something specificly prefabricated for you car.
They are in Pompton Plains I believe...

Greg,

I have been using Protosport for most of the work on my car. I was out there Saturday for a PCA event. Paul wants to call B&B and see about what they will do about the leaking issue I have with a new set of B&B headers that don't fit properly.

The other option was to have Paul custom build me a set of headers. They do not have a set made for my car since they don't get many 3.6 964 turbos coming around. I was wondering if they custom built your headers or are you using GHL or B&B?

They have an incredible C4 they are converting into some 600+ hp C2 TT with an amazing new racing traction control system. What a piece of work. The luck owner of this car is going to have one amazing ride.

My car essentially was a project like that one... A normal narrow body converted by Paul and John (they sound like Saints everytime I say that..LOL) into a fire breathing 650HP beast... Back when they made it 5 years ago, it was the shiznit...

I'm not sure about my headers. Paul would know...
But I've seen some serious 3.6 turbos out there. A black one that boasted over 700HP!!!

Ditto?

Yes FWIW, I have enjoyed your posts C4TT. It has been great seeing you make your car look like it performs! I feel cheated not finally seeing what wheels you were gonna put on that monster!

Hopefully you'll change your mind (or just buy a Boxster like Dove and continue to post!)

All the best!

it is sad, you have one of the nicest 964 on this board. I wish I had the extra money laying around so I can purchase that beauty and the beast. Good Luck.
