Default Oil cooler leaks

The lines up front are leaking at the fittings. I determined this after hours of degreasing a clogged cooler. (Just got the car and loving it!) Of course one of the lines is the monster to the rear. I've heard about Aero-quipped/styled fittings that can be used when shortening the hose, installing new fittings, then fitting a 6" replacement hose back to the cooler. Is this horsepucky or can it be done? If doable, does anyone know where I can get the fittings? Thanks as always!

May be check a Bulldozer or Crane shop [Cattepillar], they work with hydraulics a lot, may be they can help you.

I believe it's true. A shop in San Francisco does it. The reason is the Porsche lines are really expensive and modified fittings with proper hose made locally is considerable cheaper.
