My rears have an offset of 70 so I had to put spacers (if I remmenber well 23mm spacers) this is how it looks.

Alex, looks great. I think I'm going to be happy which ever way I jump.

(TurboRonnie - got the PM now. Swap that shift!
Crail drifting is go...altho the 200 is still on stands: we need spare wheels so we can drive home legal..)

if you have bought 70 offset wheels and therefore need a 20mmish spacer, please remember that you should use longer studs so that your wheels stay on.

Has anyone weighed the Mille Miglia replicas? I'd be interested to kn ow what the weight difference is; they are, after all, produced under licence from Porsche AG.

I would have thought that the design is the major factor in determining the weight...

..and in answer to the question, I'd go for genuine Cup1s (ie the third of your links) but I don't like black, and I'm a bit wary of the "I'm selling on behalf of my brother" comment

Johnny, I have a set of Cup 2's on my Slate Grey C2. They look pretty good IMO. THe Cups 2's are from a 993, Cup 1's from a 964. I bought mine from Douglas Valley Breakers and they are a straight fit with no spacers.

I'm trying to attach a pic, which will hopefully work.

Regards, Rob W.

Rob,

If anyone knows the weight of a Bridgestone S02, 205/17 or 255/17 then I can weigh my wheels and subtract the tyre to give a ball park figure.

Nice pics! I know of quite a few people who dislike the look of the 993 Cup wheels, but I think they look great on the 964's and not at all out of place or incorrect.

Actually, does anyone have photos of the '02 lightweight 18" 5 spoke Carrera wheels on a 964? I seem to recall that the 964 is not recommended to run 18's but I can't quite recall.

Alex, are those the same wheels in both pics? (car looks great btw!)

Rob W - the cup II's in the picture were in the 50-55mm offset range?

I was starting to think that these cup II wheels all had 70mm offsets and so I should order longer studs and spacers. Now it sounds like some are in the 50-55mm range, so I should wait to get it confirmed from the seller!

Howard, my Cup 2's were 7x55 and 9x55 front and rear respectively.

Hmmm...so I need to wait and see! Wish this damn seller would tell me what they are, I'm going to be bummed if I have to wait extra time to get them on my car after having to drive all the way up to Santa Rosa to pick them up!

According to www.wheelweights.net , the MM C2T's weigh 24 and 26 lbs; the Borbet C2T's (Porsche OE) weigh 22 and 23.5 lbs in the same 7.5 x 9 x 17 sizes.

The lightweight choice, IMHO, is the 993 Cup II's. At 19 and 21.5 lbs, they save approximately 19 lbs of total unsprung weight over the MM's. Oh, and here's the tire info (S02's now included):
