Karl, Great article. I had 1 dyno run 2 weeks ago and it was the same machine that showed the lowest results for the 350Z article in your post. Really interesting 'cause my results showed real low too for my model year 993. I ran to your thread today searching for more dyno results 'cause I'm doing a 3 pull dyno today.

It looks to me like one has to be very careful to cool the car with a fan, particularly when it is water cooled, to get any kind of consistent readings on a chassis dyno.
It also appears to me that comparative HP readings between different cars on different dynos on different days are meaningless
I think the chassis dyno is valuable only as a tuning tool to compare the effect of tuning changes made to the same car running on the same dyno and even then you have to be careful to keep the conditions right.....
