No idea but I’m curious was it original to the car? It’s the first time I’ve seen this option.

It was Porsche factory Tequipment option for 964 than 993 series. It came in it’s first generation as a five disc slot design that often scratched the CDs. It was later offered in an 8 disc “drawer” design that did not damage the discs!
