Yes - anyone can turn up to spectate. In fact, you can get a passenger ride for £5.

Right now, I should (no, make that MUST) be packing for this but, as usual, I just thought I'd drop in here 'for a minute'.

If I look VERY tired on the day, you'll know why!

Somehow I seem to have forgotten how I manage to get a wheelchair and its (full size) wheels, a walking frame (which must be instantly removable), two crash helmets, a cool-bag full of food, luggage for two people (one of whom is a woman...) and numerous sundry items to fit into a 964.

Maybe I'll do it in the morning...

Anyone who sees us on the day, please introduce yourselves.

John

Good luck fitting everything in. I keep checking the weather forecast praying for dry weather. Looks promising but chance of a few showers.

Have a save journey

John - I can't wait. I have the opposite problem to you though. Having just moved house, I can't find anything to pack my luggage in. I may have to bring a Waitrose carrier bag!

Nope, just moved house like you and trying to get rid of the mound of boxes! I am booked on the PCGB day at Castle Combe on May 6th.
Meanwhile we are thrilled with our new location - edge of Dartmoor with River Dart flowing through our garden. Devon & Cornwall Annual Regional event is 2 miles down the road on June 20th - thinking of throwing a BBQ on the Sat eve. Get down here!

Follow up on the day -

Miserable weather in the early part of the day, but just about the most enjoyable track day I have ever done. Paula, Rob, the Blue Shadow and I had such a great time!

Plenty of 964s on the track and some just spectating.

Nice to meet Adrian (Watson) albeit in brief moments (!)

Great last session with three 964s dicing (er, I mean not dicing at all really!) together!

Thouroughly good entertainment all the way!

Paula's MS always suffers from being stuck in the car. Today she can pretty much not even take a single step, but she is as pleased as I am that we went.

Damn, that was fun!

John,

Glad you had a good time!! Sorry that I could not have been there too! Will try to get to the PCGB day at Brands in August (providing it's not sold out already!!). Anyone else booked in for this?

Enjoying the weekend getting used to driving a C2 over the old C4, but it feels kind of nice to be able to pull the odd wheel spin!!! Perhaps a little more practice is required before I take her on a circuit!!
