Hey James,

Do you have the Porsche horn contact: 964.652.104.00? It's part #7 in the diagram. That piece makes contact with the Momo hub and allows you to operate the horn with the Momo button.

It should work then. Try testing the circuit. Get the "hot" wire from the hub and touch it to a ground. The horn should sound (I forget if you need the key switched to ACC, so try both ways). If you get nothing, then check the fuse, but this is all the wiring that's involved.

is that wire color coded? the previous owner removed the switch for the sunroof... cut the wires that go to the rear wiper and glass defrost.. so I may need to trace the wire back and or add a new wire.

Sorry, James, I don't know much about the wires behind the dash that your car's PO may have snipped. I was referring to the lead coming out of the Momo hub.

993: brown/brown&white wires are for horn, green&red/green&blue is for airbag.
Confirmed with wiring schematic and personal experience.

I have been terrorizing Luisis agent locally for a year and finally they are making the hubs for 964 with airbags. It will be a direct bolt on solution.

I feel like I am going crazy, but how are people installing the horn contact pad with the airbag clock spring (that controls the auto canceling turn signals) in Momo installs? Or are they mutually exclusive and thus you cannot have auto canceling turn signals with a Momo hub/wheel.

Granted Im 99% sure I have been using the wrong hub (came with the wheel I bought, it fit so Ive been using it without a horn or the airbag clockspring) so that could be part of my confusion.

The clock spring doesn't get used. The Momo hub handles the turn signal cancelling and the horn function.
