I recently completed a tiptronic to manual conversion on my 1991 C2 (see other thread).

I have put together my notes and photos into an instruction manual in case this will help anyone else. A full parts list and parts diagrams is included also. Its a bit rough, but should be a help to anyone considering this project. Good luck!

Amazing post. I will say Im surprised nothing has to be changed in the ECU or with the tach. Great stuff!

The tach will work, it just looks a bit ugly with the tip gear selector lights that are no longer necessary.

im going to buy a manual tach and replace it.

I didn’t touch the ecu and it works perfectly. I was expecting a lot more issues, but thankfully Porsche made this easy!
