That front splitter looks a little heavy-handed to me. IMHO I would think that a bigger rear wing to balance the car should be considered...

911 Wings,

Here's the other thread which provides an overview of the various options, like the Ruf on Bill Gregory's C2.

Christer - have you talked to Mike Shaw (MA Shaw - Rennlist Sponsor)?

While his website is pretty useless when it comes to showing what he has for the 964, I just bought some 965 CF splitters from him, mainly because others here have had good experiences and he is as friendly and helpful as they come.

So, if you know what it is you want, maybe he is worth a call too.

Ruairidh

Do you have any pictures of the splitters fitted?

I really know what I want, but can't find the right product.

Kevin, not yet. I'm also replacing the periscope rear brake light on my cab with a 993 basket handle and thinking about 993 door handles (a la Raby) - so was going to do a bulk job to save pennies!

Hmmm. I seem to be having a problem linking to my uploaded picture... I'll try again later.

Another attempt. Does anyone know if this is the "RS" front lip?

Thanks.

Erick,

The part in your pic is a little hard to make out. Is it similar to the Techart item? BTW, this thing aint cheap.

I'm not familiar with a 964 RS valance but Techart does make the Factory 993 aerokit which is very similar to Melvin Spear's Cup Car setup. Look under the "Program => Tuning" section on their website.

Ah hah! I was flipping through some old magazines and came across the 911&PW featuring the 964 3.8 RS. The picture was also a little dark but it appears to have just the RSR splitters.

These can be had from TRG for $99.

These looked like a piece of cake and I planned on getting them, but FWIW, Peter at Rennspeed told me that they are actually harder to fit than a one-piece. Harder to position them he said. But they're still very good looking. Has anyone tried them? J

Wow, your eyes are much better than mine.... It's amazing that all these companies that sell these things don't have GREAT pictures showing what they look like installed.

The picture from the magazine was actually a little more revealing. I just posted the one above so you'd know which issue I was referring to. Here are the bits on the RSR:

JoeW, There's another RSA owner who installed these parts after adding a 3.8 RS wing (like above). His Rennlist handle is David K (NJ) and you can see his car in the gallery at http://www.rsamerica.net Yeah I bet those would be tricky to mount just right. Another great reason to consider the Ruf.

Joey, do you have a picture of the one from MA Shaw? I've talked to Michael a couple of times on the phone but he seems to be having trouble getting an attachment of the efile to me. J
