Anybody ever curious as to what your car will produce HP at the rear wheels?
If you are ever wondering go to www.dynolabs.net

I got mine done last year. Before exhaust change I only had 207rwhp (dyno converted to approx 238hp) and after it was 222rwhp (or 260 odd). I guess a good engine will do around 207-215rwhp. It also varies quite a lot with temperature and atm pressure of course.

Yes your right temp. does matter quite a bit.
I will be doing mine probably soon before and after installing a fabspeed exhaust.
A friend of mine have a 91 C2 with fabspeed, chip, K&N cone filter system
cat bypass pipe. His car dynoed at 247HP at the wheels

I had my C4 dyno'd last Fall on a dual roller: 228.5 hp and 224.0 lb ft.
The 247 rwhp reported by your friend is pretty strong. That would translate to 291 hp at the flywheel when using the standard 15% loss factor. What sort of Fabspeed exhaust and chip are we talking about?
Sorry if I seem skeptical but that's a huge leap over stock due to a few bolt ons. Does your friend have 0-60 times? He should be under five seconds easily with that type of hp.

I had mine dyno'd last November. Results were 219.7 HP at the wheels, and 196.6 lb-ft of torque. I was quite happy with the results, especially for an 11 year old car that is (as far as I know) 100% stock, except for the wheels.
Here's the url for the data.

Christer, since the last dyno run, I have had a later plastic inlet manifold and single 'enlarged' throttle body fitted, this should compliment some of the previous upgrades and give some more power.....in theory !

Christer, the engine had top end overhaul (really for cosmetics, slight oil seepage, but good power). In addition to this:
RS LWF & Clutch
De-cat
Cup pipe
Injector overhaul
Machine Heads (to raise compression ratio)
New Valve springs and Titanium retainers
Sport Cams
Cup Airbox
K & N filter
Re-chip
Plastic inlet manifold and large throttle body
I think thats it for the engine

That IS a good list, Gavin. Would it possible to for you to scan the dyno plots and then post them? Air/Fuel mix numbers would also be good to include.
