Yep, I have been down this exercise. I ultimately ended up with 12's and 315's in the rear with an ET4. This adds about 1/2" to each side of the wheel. With the 315's, you will need around 2˚ of negative camber which Jonte plans on having more than that. The problem with 305's is there is only ONE street tire made in that size (305/30-18) and it is a Chinese tire called Achilles ATR Sport. There is/was a track tire made in that size, but can't remember which one.
To Jonte's point, 12's probably will not make you faster unless grip is an issue coming out of corners which is probably not a big concern with 295's.
Anyways, can't wait to see the next episode.

The TT products are really cool - first I’m hearing of them. Do you think a chipped but otherwise stock 3.6 would benefit from the equal-length headers? I’m interested in the single-outlet set up on their website.

I’ve got good experience with them and I would recommend them. I’m not sure how and if equal length will do with a more stock engine, but cannot hurt.

Finally some time in the garage!
I’m sorry for the infrequent updates. My house renovation is a bit out of hand… nevertheless this weekend I set all of that aside and got my suspension installed!

Cool stuff. Saw the video and also the "old" H&R clubsport package. What was wrong with the old coils?
How about the springrate of your old coil (i guess the 200/260 spring combination from the H&R clubsport?) and the new JRZ stuff?

The old prints were actually 140-60-080 and rears 200-60-140.
For the new ones I took help from the guys at JRZ to calculate based on my approximated future corner weight and by measuring the unsprung mass. I cannot see on the springs I got what they are, but seem to be a bit stiffer than previous ones even if the car is lighter. I'll have to check with them what I ended up with...
I was actually happy with the H&R, but wanted to go up a level so to speak and wanted something very technical in nature. That's how I ended up with the ProActive.
