Need a part number for the small bolts that hold the harmonic pulley halves together.
Didn't realize they were one piece -- so I undid all the little allen head bolts -- of course 2 stripped.
I also didn't realize I had to keep the orientation known .. so when I get it back together, I'll have to send it off to be balanced :-(
Anyone have the part numbers for the small allen bolts?
thx,
Mike

That harmonic balancer is one part number - the hex cap screws don't have a part #. Use a high grade metric replacement from a local supplier.
The balancer doesn't get balanced, once remounted, it cancels the the unbalance of the crank and reduces the vibration. Before you proceed any further and clean up the parts, look carefully of the mating flanges, etc. of the balancer and see if you can determine the orientation. Even gunk will leave a telltale break when separated.
Do you have the proper tools to remove the balancer?

Look at these posts, good discussion on the harmonic balancer. It is balanced by itself as an assembly (damper assembled with pulleys)

The below business has re-poured new rubber into old 964 harmonic balancers, I would call him and get his opinion on balancing issues if you don't know the orientation of the parts.
