Default Singer almost goes full treehugger

How lucky was this guy that the shoulder even existed there?

Looks like he lost his nerve and went for the brakes instead of throttle. Common mistake for drivers unaccustomed to rear drive/rear engine.

It's hard to comment on driver skill from the car behind. Who knows what was going on in front.

What I can say is that I don't like to drive in close formation because I want to be able to see the bend ahead... AND have some run off space.

What I can say is that he succeeded to keep the car out of the bushes and that is worth focussing on.

Well done on that Mr Driver.

No harm no foul. Honestly, I'm more proud than anything that he is ripping on his Singer hard enough to get into a little trouble.

I hate drives with so many cars, so close too each others. Could have been nasty.

Totally agree. Glad the shoulder was there, but lovely to see this car being driven the way it was meant to be.

You can't judge the drive or the driver w out being in the car on that road at that moment. It doesn't matter what happened.

The question is - how did the wheels lock up in a car that has abs...if the abs isn't functioning - and normally does, that alone could have caused the issue. Who knows...

I was there....ABS malfunctioned (obviously) and driver got back on it and kept driving....

Wonder if it's the pump pistons freezing that seems common on our cars.

I like the fact that he or she has a moment which they recover from and are straight back on full throttle as if nothing happened
