Default Can anyone tell me what this cable/plug is for in the Frunk

I have this cable with plug an it’s not connected to anything. Does anyone know what it’s for and should it be connected?

thanks!

That’s for the flux capacitor. NLA but you can find rebuilt units sometimes if you search.

It’s difficult to tell from the close ups. Maybe post another photo that shows what area the connector is located.

What about

The differential Control Button bridging

Pin 1 is Red grey (term 5 of abs relay, abs controller pin 1, diff lock "on" position 1)
Pin 2 empty
Pin 3 grey blue (abs controller pin 28, diff lock "in" pin 1)
Pin 4 brown (ground obviously, diff lock "off" via shell 5)

Plus female plug on schematics

Not sure what purpose it fullfill but it's noted as empty

It's probably more a diagnostic tool close to the abs than anything or a way to plug a remote button to diagnose from under the car altough most people never knew avout it
