Default 993 Calipers on my 964....Help

I just acquired a freshly rebuilt set of calipers from a 993, and I am wondering what is needed to make these work. I saw the caliper bracket that Rennline offers. Will this work? Do I just use stock 993 rotors? Will I need to upgrade my master cylinder or brake booster? Thanks....

I did this conversion with help/info/input from Bill Verberg.

-968 M003 front rotors. These are 993 sized but with cross drilling and offset for 964 hubs
-964RS rear cross drilled rotors
-Front brake lines
-Aluminum axial-radial adapters to use stock 964 hubs and large 993 calipers and rotors

yes, you will need to change the m/c to 993 23.8mm
the parts needed are
964 to 993
m/c 993.355.910.00
vac can 993.355.023.10
gasket 993.355.301.00
support 993.355.163.03
and some brake lines made up, Classic Tube, (www.classictube.com), can do that for around $35/pair. You send in your existing lines, to be replicated with new 12mm/10mm fittings.
Have them make the master cylinder end, with the 12mm fitting, an inch longer, to accommodate fitment into the 993 master cylinder.
When you receive the lines, you’ll need to curve the end of each line to fit into the master cylinder, using one of the available brake tube bending tools.

i purchased some brake lines from BMW that were the correct length with the correct fittings each end. If you need the part number let me know.

928 GT rotors are also correct and popular for this mod. There is no real need to upgrade the master cylinder to the 993 version for this mod. With big red calipers, upgrade the m/c, but for standard 993 front calipers this is not needed in my own experience. The Rennline adapter brackets for the front work well.

The hydraulic needs of 993 and 993RS/TT fronts (aka Big Red) are identical

here's a comparison of the pedal ratios, lower is better for sporting use, down to ~30, much lower and effort becomes to much for many drivers, the higher the ratio the mushier and less control one has of the brakes, when the ratio gets too high the brakes don't work as expected, too high is in the high 40s
964 43.171 w/ stock and 32.34 w a 993m/c

993 37.34, 964 w/ either 993 or 99 3RS/TT front and 993 rears is the same
993RS 33.654

forgot to add

964 w/ 993 calipers and stock 964 m/c 49.482

Thanks, that will save me a few $$$$$s. Which I am sure I can spend somewhere else!
