Default Rough running cold - what next?

Hello, all of you.
i have a 1991 964 C4. As long as I’ve had it, it’s been a bit grumpy until it warms up, but either it’s getting worse or I’m getting less patient as I age.

Recent top end rebuild
fresh plugs
New 993 coils (fixed Christmas tree)
I’ve ordered ignition wires, but not put them in yet (originals in the car currently)

Outside of ignition wires, where should I go from here?
Idles well hot or cold. LWF.
Stumbles on acceleration cold. Power (barely) seems to be inconsistent warm (could be in my head).

Scanguage shows realistic cylinder and air intake temps. No error codes.

Thoughts?

Given everything you've already listed, if it stumbles on acceleration when cold, then my guess would be lack of fuel enrichment. Do you have any buddies with a wideband O2 guage?

Broken belt in Distributor? Easy to check: unplug the main one at the coil (flat sliding connector) and try to start the car on the slave only.
I can not remember which is which so you can try one after the other.
If the belt is broken it will not start on the slave only.

Why not to try at firstt the most simple thing to do : reset the ECU-Motronic.... disconnect the batterij for apr. 30 minutes, start the engine and let it idle for 2-3 minutes without touching the accelerator (!). Then take it for a ride to reach operational temperature and see if everyting will return to normal...
