Wow, San Francisco or even further North would surely cut down the on the sheer number of spectators and cars present......one would think.

I also feel like it would take away from standing traditions.......maybe what they're after.

I'll be honest, I mostly wanted to attend Luft 6 to get another crack at some of the great driving in the LA area.

Are we still even in CA at that point, or have we moved on to OR or WA?

At the very least, that would cut down on my drive significantly.

I hope this isn't the year that Patrick Long jumps the shark. But if he does I'm sure Jeff will get a sweet shot of it.

Someone commented a while back that there was a Petersen event extended until April 21 or so, implying it could be then, which is around last year's date.

I hope it's NOT that weekend.

I think it will be in SoCal.
I can't imagine it being anywhere else.

I think based on the UK and European events finding a place large enough in SoCal without making it feel like a stadium show or racetrack "mini rennsport" would be tough. "If" it were more north many of us would still fly cross country to go and it opens up to a fresh new batch of cars from those regions.

I'd say based on my sources its' very likely.

Your logic is sound.

But I'm not happy about it.

Try flying from Florida from each one, sometimes with a plane full of kids or people going to Coachella. Stoked and ready fo book either way.

Moving from 911 Mecca? How much larger can it get? Doesn't make much sense given the history but I guess stranger things have happened.

Last year tickets went on sale March 13 for the show on April 22.

Not sure about location (though hoping SoCal), but the show will be in May.
