964 Exhaust Modifications Question

Interesting sound but not quite 964 sounding to me. I have a 100 cell cat and magnaflow muffler and it sounds very 964 but loud outside the car while relatively quiet inside.
I believe Soul Performance is considering coming out with a 993 and eventually a 964 muffler in the near future as well.

As an extra data point:
On my previous car, I had a primary bypass, which kept the 964 3.6 sound, but only louder but not too loud. Eventually I installed a Fabspeed cat bypass and it sounded so much better. More mechanical, and surprisingly only a notch louder. Very livable with kids in the back seat.
At the time, I didn't like the G-pipe cars that I heard.
This car has a stock cat, and secondary bypass - the swan's neck type. Somehow it sounds different from the g-pipe cars I've heard in the past (don't know why as it's basically a longer G-pipe. Not as deep, V-8, woof-woof sounding like the g-pipe cars I've heard. Still sounds deeper than the primary bypass cars but not too deep. Actually sounds deep and aggressive. A really nice sound. Kinda want it a bit louder, and more mechanical, so thinking about a cat bypass, but scared it might be too loud (based on the cat bypass/g-pipe comments in the past). Haven't heard a cat bypass/swan's neck combo in the flesh yet.

It is an older unit but I believe it was model 11114.
I have better pics someplace. The plumbing was custom with 100 cell dansk cat to a bend and the magnaflow with a swans neck out to a Dansk 4" tailpipe coupled with an RS airbox mod it has a great sound but could be reduced if you use the stock tip or stock airbox.

From a performance perspective, two independent 964 specialists with rolling roads on this side of the pond in Heidiland told me not to bother changing the sport cat and primary bypass/cup pipe set up a few years ago - the juice just isn't worth the squeeze apparently...

Just to be clear, they directed you to stick with the setup of sport cat/primary bypass/stock secondary?

^^ I think the comment was more based on keeping the stock headers/heater boxes. Changing out the sport cat and whatever else he has already wouldn't gain much if anything for the cost involved. There is little to no advantage to changing the stock headers although aftermarket headers will change the power curve it doesn't gain any significant power or acceleration. Headers will help a little for track applications when you are running close or near to redline most of the time.
The SOUL exhaust on the 993 did yield improvement over the stock setup using the stock 993 headers and mufflers. Maybe they will build one for the 964.
