Default Airbox question



The. Connection next to bottom clip
Could someone please tell me if a hose is supposed to be connected to the inside wall if my airbox 1993 c2. I didn’t have anything attached

So If there wasn't a stopper on it what would it be used for?
Is the air box common across a couple of models (928?) and has a function on a different car?

Yeah, had to dig mine out of storage as I've replaced the stock airbox with a snorkel and cone filter.
It had a plug on it. So, nothing?

It connects to an oil separator on the pre-964 turbos.

Yes a breather on Australian? 964s that don't have the recirculation valve assembly. I converted my UK car to remove all the clutter.
